FCI Watermakers Proud to Support the 23rd Annual Carolina Boat Builders Fishing Tournament

Summer in the Outer Banks means long days on the water, world-class fishing, and a boating community that knows how to come together for a great cause.

That’s why FCI Watermakers is excited to support the 23rd Annual Carolina Boat Builders Fishing Tournament, taking place July 22-25, 2026.

Each year, the tournament brings together boatbuilders, anglers, captains, crews, marine businesses, and supporters from across the industry for a few unforgettable days of competition, camaraderie, and community. While the fishing is certainly a highlight, the impact of the event extends far beyond the leaderboard.

Hosted by the Dare County Boat Builders Foundation, the tournament helps fund scholarships for students continuing their academic pursuits. Since its founding, the Foundation has helped open doors for future boatbuilders, marine engineers, welders, technicians, marine biologists, and countless others who share a passion for life on the water.

The Foundation’s mission is one that resonates throughout the Outer Banks, where generations of craftsmen and innovators have helped shape one of the most respected boatbuilding communities in the world. By supporting educational opportunities for students today, the organization is helping ensure that maritime knowledge, skills, and traditions continue for years to come.

At FCI Watermakers, we’re proud to support initiatives that strengthen and celebrate the marine community. The Carolina Boat Builders Fishing Tournament is a perfect example of what makes this industry special: people coming together around a shared passion while making a meaningful difference for future generations.

We look forward to seeing familiar faces, meeting new ones, and cheering on the anglers as they hit the water this July.

Good luck to all the participants, and thank you to the Dare County Boat Builders Foundation for the incredible work they do throughout the year.
