Intuitive engineering enhances the longevity, durability, and performance of every watermaker unit. Take a look at considerations when choosing your next Watermaker.

Looking for a watermaker but don’t know where to start?

GENERATOR CONFIGURATIONS

What power do you have available?

FCI Watermakers builds system’s utilizing AC power, so it is important for us to know up front what voltage is available on your vessel. Each system is pre-wired based on the voltage that is selected for your application. We offer systems in 120 VAC, 208-240 VAC, 380 VAC, 480 VAC, Single or Three Phase, 50 / 60 Hz. Check individual product pages to see which voltages are available for the system you are interested in.

DETERMINING SIZE

Framed or Modular?

Space matters when planning your installation. We are proud to offer Framed and Modular configurations for the majority of our watermakers. Not sure which to choose? It is really a personal choice depending on your vessel and where you plan on installing the unit. A Framed configuration allows you to keep your Watermaker central and everything in one place. Modular configurations allow for a more flexible install in which components can be installed as needed for your vessel.

WHAT TYPE OF BOATER ARE YOU?

Hands-on or off?

Here at FCI Watermakers we have an option for both types of boaters! Conventional or Fully Automated, it is up to you. Our Conventional Watermakers require a manual pressure adjustment where our Fully Automated units feature our APC (Automatic Pressure Control) technology making these systems truly one-touch.

SPOT-FREE WATER

Do you have spot-free water needs?

Whether you need to produce Spot-Free Water from a Seawater or Dockside Water source we got you covered. Our Double-Pass systems have the ability to produce Spot-Free Water from a Seawater or Dockside water source. We also offer a DTS (Dockside Treatment System) product line which allows you to produce Spot-Free Water from a Dockside water source.

DETERMINING YOUR DAILY WATER NEEDS

Size of the Watertank/Daily Production requirement?

Not sure how much water you’ll need? Most marine watermakers’ available output is rated on a per-day basis, but you can easily determine the per-hour production that suits you.

  • Determine the size of freshwater storage you have.
  • Determine how many hours per day you want to operate the watermaker per run cycle.
  • Compute how many gallons of water you need to make per hour in order to refill your water tank.
